New Start has based our narrative practice on the work of Michael White and, more recently, Alan Jenkins and Tod Augusta Scott.
The legacy of Michael White can be found at the Dulwich Centre website www.dulwichcentre.com.au This web site is rich in articles, publications and information about Narrative Therapy.
Alan Jenkins has been addressing violence and abusive behaviour for over 25 years. He has developed therapeutic frameworks for working with people who have perpetrated abuse and have been subjected to abuse. He is the author of “Invitations to Responsibility: the therapeutic engagement of men who are violent”.
Tod Augusta Scott, Nova Scotia born and raised, is internationally known for his work with domestic violence. As the coordinator of Bridges Institute he has a wealth of information which can be found at www.bridgesinstitute.org
